Mud Australia Competition

Mud Australia Pebble Bowl in Powder

Mud Australia is pretty amazing. I adore their products so much it could be considered an addiction. Awhile ago they had a competition where you had to bake in your Mud and style and shoot a photo. Above is my entry of a classic pavlova (it looks yummier than what is tasted : / )

I find competitions likes these really creative, inspiring and fun. Even though I haven't won any of them I still love participating hahaha

Miss Wee at Magnolia Square

Magnolia Square Market

This will be the first time Miss Wee has participated in Magnolia Square. Isn't that a great postcard! Love the bleached wood.

I'm really looking forward to being part of both the St Kilda and Malvern events. I haven't really done any markets on that side of town so I'm excited about meeting some new people.

Before I finish up for the day I had to post this. These photos are so breathtaking I actually feel sick in the stomach. I love every single thing in and about these photos. Teleport required, urgently.

Picasso, Miss Wee & The Art Gallery of NSW

Probably not the best idea to put Miss Wee in the same sentence as Picasso but none the less we are both currently at The Art Gallery of NSW. Made possible only by the closure of the Musée National Picasso in Paris for renovations, the Gallery is the only venue in Australia to exhibit Picasso. The exhibition is running from 12 Nov 2011 – 25 Mar 2012. For more information visit The Art Gallery of NSW www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au.

....... and, might I add, just finished and posted a small order to the gallery which included my Tough Linkage Necklace pictured below. Only 3 were made so be quick!!

Hans Wegner Wishbone Chair - Citrus Collections

"The Danish producer of design furniture, Carl Hansen & Son, extends its palette for Hans J. Wegner’s renowned Wishbone Chair with four new shades of Citrus.

The Wishbone Chair was designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen in 1949, and has been in uninterrupted production since 1950. The Wishbone is a light, sculptural dining chair whose steam-bent back allows a variety of comfortable sitting positions. Its materials and craftsmanship provide generations of lasting value and comfort." Thomas Roschmann Vagner, Sales and Marketing Director Carl Hansen & Søn

I have been looking for two head dining chairs for a while now and I'm the type of person who only wants to buy something once and have it for a ridiculously long time. I am finding it very hard to resist the citrus range, having them released in 2010 my heart still feels fondly for them. Who can resist the quality of Carl Hansen & Son and the timeless designs of Hans Wegner (he is seriously a legend, one to admire). They are quite a costly investment and deciding between citrus grey or citrus is proving very difficult.
